Workouts. . .
10-minutes morning yoga; ran 3 miles at the gym, walking warm-up and cool-down, stretching.
I decided yesterday that I’d wear my pedometer to see what kind of foot traffic I’ve been making lately. Well, it’s been so long since I’ve used it that the battery has died. They only cost $10, so I’m wondering whether I’ll have to get a new one. I don’t know where the battery goes.
Valentine’s day turned into a bust pretty much all around. My flowers were sent while I was at work, so they froze (being tulips and lilies) and when I got home they were completely drooping. I almost cried. Then it was snowing really badly, so there was no way to make our restaurant reservation on time. I cancelled thinking we could get takeout from this really great Italian place around the corner. Called them to place an order around 5, I thought I’d do it early rather than wait, and they weren’t doing takeout that night due to a special menu. Could they not offer their special menu also as takeout? Guess not. Regardless, I was tired and frustrated, so I settled for pizza, which is a far less sophisticated form of takeout and ended up really hitting the spot. So, so hungry by the time it came — plus mad — that I ate half of a medium pizza. I actually was not overly full either. Anyway, total bust of a day. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
